Welcome to Samson Middle School!

I am very excited to be back in Samson as the Samson Middle School Principal!  My wife Chasity and I loved our time here at Samson in the past and we feel at home here.  Chasity, who was the Pre-K teacher for many of our current 6th and 7th graders, is now the Coffee County District Math Coach for grades K-5.  We both share a love for our students and the communities they live in.  In our previous time here as the Samson Tiger Head Football Coach, we led the Tigers to three consecutive playoff appearances for the only time in school history.  We were also able to tie the record for most career region wins in school history, a record that was just recently broken by our very own Coach Jason Wambles.  During this time, I also served as Athletics Director where, in our second year of leadership, every graduating senior who participated in athletics was able to participate in postseason playoff games.  While filling these roles, I was also able to serve as a high school geometry teacher and a member of the school administrative and leadership teams.  In my 18 years of working in education, I have had the opportunity to work with some great students and staff at some great places, but none greater than Samson.  An inspiring leader here in the past showed us that although we are all strong, TOGETHER, we are SAMSON STRONG!  I hope to bring that same unified strength to Samson Middle School as well as Samson High School.  I, along with Mr. Bryan Peacock, the Samson High School Principal, will work to help our students and staff in both schools be united together; one school, Samson Strong!
